SSN count relative to date of major eruptions

The same temporal overlay was used to create the volcanic stack graphs:

There appear to two be groups, the first and the last two events shown align to the latter part of the peak in SSN, the other three close to the minimum of the SSN cycle.

It is notable that the last two major events, which occurred within the satellite period, both happened when the peak of solar activity was past. The period attributed to volcanic cooling is thus coincident with a steep drop in the solar cycle. Solar and volcanic effects are therefore likely to be confounded.
